Hi! I’m Mary, a New York native and the voice behind Wander Weekly. At 28, I’ve celebrated one year of marriage and traveled to more than 23 countries—each one adding a new layer of inspiration, perspective, and curiosity to my journey.
Back in 2018, I was diagnosed with a super rare neurological disorder called Transverse Myelitis. Even the doctors didn’t expect a full recovery, but I beat the odds—and today I’m living healthy, happily married, and more determined than ever to see the world.
Rome, Florence, and Scottsdale were the first places I truly fell in love with—the kind of destinations that made me think, I could see myself living here. That dream even came true in 2023, when I had the privilege of living and working in Rome for six months. Since then, I’ve wandered through South America, Europe, and Asia—falling in love with vibrant cities, hidden gems, and meals I’ll never forget.
For me, travel is about more than just new destinations—it’s about finding joy in culture, food, and the unexpected. I can’t wait to share more of the places I’ll discover next.
